British ‘Hate Preacher’ Caught with Porn, Alcohol Mags

beermagRadical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary actively subscribes to pornographic and alcohol-related magazines, British media have learned.

Reporters were waiting outside the British preacher's home in London to question him about photographs that were recently published in The Sun newspaper, which depict a young Choudary drinking alcohol, playing drinking games and posing with a porn magazine.

Choudary, 46, emerged from his home to collect several magazines from a mailbox. That's when one sharp-eyed reporter noticed the colorful selection of magazines included Big ‘Uns, an American pornographic magazine dedicated to “showcasing the glory of female mammaries.”

Choudary also received copies of Beer & Wine Weekly, Lager Connoisseur and Pub Crawl Monthly – curious choices of reading since the Muslim faith forbids the drinking of alcoholic beverages.

But when asked about the magazines, Choudary became enraged and lashed out against the reporters.

“The British and American governments have planted these disgusting magazines in my mailbox in an attempt to discredit me,” he yelled, waving the magazines in the air. “I don't drink. I don’t even know what Big ‘Uns are. Female nudity disgusts me and should be covered up.

“These magazines are as real as the photographs in The Sun, which are photoshopped and faked," he continued. "That guy laughing and drinking beer doesn’t even look like me.

“You will burn in hell for this,” he added before rushing into his house, clutching the magazines tightly under his arm.

F-Cup Sized Fake

Choudary, leader of a banned Muslim fundamentalist group, is an outspoken proponent of radical Islam, calling for Sharia Law in Europe and the United States, extreme punishments for adultery and drunkenness, and burkas for women. In one video, he praised the murderers of British Army drummer Lee Rigby as martyrs. In 2011 he organized a pro-Osama bin Laden memorial in London.

Despite being a vocal critic of the British government and of British society, the London-born former lawyer still receives £25,000 a year ($39,153) in benefits. But the magazines are likely to further undermine his credibility to the public.

Albert Bundy, a spokesman for Big ‘Uns Global Publications in Chicago, confirmed that Choudary is an active subscriber of its premier magazine, as well as its sister titles Little ‘Uns, Round ‘Uns and Perky ‘Uns.

“Mr. Choudary recently received a one-year subscription after winning our annual contest, ‘Guess the Breasts.’ That’s where you identify a celebrity's boobs in a photo," Bundy said.

“We celebrate the natural beauty of women while he condemns it,” Bundy added. “It's strange. I hope our magazines provide some release, so to speak, for a man who has so much hatred.”

But a spokesperson for Choudary continued to deny that he subscribed to any of the magazines in question.

"Cleric Choudary doesn't need to spend his money on alcohol or porn magazines," Omar Waj said. "Even if he wanted to read about alcohol or look at big, luscious female breasts he could do it on the Internet, which of course he does not do and strongly condemns."
