153494454God lost a $100,000 Super Bowl bet to Charles Barkley tonight.

Former National Basketball Association (NBA) champ Charles Barkley was ecstatic about his win. “Always bet on the cheaters,” Barkley told The Boston Times. “You’d be a fool not too.”

The New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in a very close game at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. It was the Patriots fifth Super Bowl championship in the past 15 years. The reigning champions were hoping to repeat to be consecutive year victors.

“I can’t believe I won,” said Barkley, who's now a basketball analyst for TNT. “I beat God at his own game. It doesn’t make up for the other millions I’ve lost on betting but I feel a hot streak coming on.”

God told Fox News' Megyn Kelly, “I’m always right on football games. To lose to Charles Barkley on a bet is unacceptable. There is no repenting for this one.”

Kelly asked how could he possibly lose on a football game bet if he’s all knowing, to which God replied, “If I was on the Seahawks side, you know who was on the Pats side. Sometimes the devil wins. I think we now know who is responsible for those deflated balls against the Colts.”

Overall, God thought it was a great game. “I’ve meet a lot of former players because they die at younger ages because of physical ailments from playing football. It’s a bit barbaric of a sport but nothing like the Roman times. Those sports were nuts. The chariot races were my favorite. I guess NASCAR is similar but it isn’t the same.”

God finished by saying, “I’ll get it right next year, I’m sure of it. I’ll pay less attention to Africa and more time on the Super Bowl. You could say, ‘I dropped the ball on this one.’ ”
