Allen West Calls Obama A ‘Slavemaster’

allen-west-cpac-16x9Former Republican Congressman Allen West stoked controversy today by labeling President Obama a "slavemaster."

In a speech at a Tea Party USA convention, West claimed that Obama's "socialist welfare policies" were turning blacks and Latinos into vassals of a tyrannical federal government.

"Back in the Old South, if you were a slave, everything was provided for," West told the audience. "The master gave you your housing, your food, your job. And the slave was totally dependent.

"Now look at America today. It's the same story. Obama has taken the role of  slavemaster. He's giving away food, shelter, and work to black people and creating a permanent underclass of 21st century slaves.

"If you're on welfare, you belong to the government. If you're on food stamps, you belong to the government. If you use Social Security, Medicare, student loans, or the post office, the government owns your mind, body and soul.

"And if you decide that you don't want to pay taxes to fund this slavery, then overseer (Attorney General) Eric Holder is gonna come down and whip your butt into a federal court."

West then turned his attention to immigration from Latin America, which he likened to the Atlantic slave trade.

"And now Obama wants to be more than just a slavemaster. He wants to be a slave trader! He's trying to bring millions of new Mexican slaves into his great big Democratic plantation.

"That's all 'immigration reform' is ladies and gentlemen. A way for Democrats to bring in more poor, darkly skinned servants into our great country to pick the white cotton of liberalism. They don't care where you come from or what language you speak, as long as you take free government money.

"Now I hope no one minds if I decide to speak for all 44 million African-Americans in the country," West then bellowed, his voice raising with anger, "but I've got something to tell President Obama.

"No we don't want affordable healthcare! No we don't want Social Security benefits. No we don't want good public schools or safe streets. We want our freedom!

"We are not slaves Obama! We are human beings! And we would rather be hungry, sick and destitute in old age than participate in any kind of government program designed to improve our lives."

West served from 2011 -2013 in the U.S. House of Representatives as a member from Florida's 22nd district. In 2012 he was defeated in his bid for reelection, in part because of his overuse of slavery analogies.

    I am starting to like West more and more as president. While my first choice is Rand Paul, I would not mind if Mr. West ran things just to see if he stays true to his words. No president since Regan has done that.

    Yeah, Allen West said it “better” but he said the same thing Cliven Bundy said. They’re the same speech. Just one has had a lot of training in public speaking and has help with the composition of his speeches. Cliven is just an honest old rancher.     I don’t know about this. I am on finaid for school. The way I look at it, I have been paying taxes as a taxable employee for about 20 years. I think I already payed enough into it to get a little out. And college is where you go to better yourself (one hopes, anyway) so you don’t wind up on welfare.

There were convicted felons who had voted a straight Democratic tickets. And, if that was not bad enough, absentee ballots for West were found in the trunk of a poll worker.

    Democrats are the Party of slavey. Democrats were the KKK. Democrats fought against every civil rights legislation in Congress since the Civil War. Democrats supported the SCOTUS decision in Plessy v. Fergusen, aka “Separate but Equal” that institutionalized segregation. When LBJ was finally forced to sign the Civil Rights Act after 57 Democratic filibusters, he said, “I’ll have those ni**ers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”

    Democrats totally destroyed the Black American family, made the State government be the substitute for a working father, and paid $$$ in welfare benefits to single mothers and made it so that they would lose all that money if they got married. Democrats promoted birth out-of-wedlock that was 32% in 1964 and exceed 74% today. Single mother black households with three or more young black youths with no positive male role models is again the norm, as it was during the Carter Years. Only after the Republicans had regained control of the House in 1994 and had forced Bill Clinton to pass the Work-to-Welfare Program did things get better for Blacks.

    The change was brief, however, because the GOP lost control of the House after the Senate refused to impeach Clinton. The Democrats promptly killed the work requirement in wlefare and turned Black people back into government-dependent slaves.

    Under Obama, Blacks of all ages (but especially teenaged blacks) have fared far worse than under any other President since Jimmy Carter in 1978. Today, our Middle Class is not even ranked #1 in the world.

    Actually, I do want my Social Security benefits when I retire. The gov made me pay into it so unless they give me my money back with interest, I consider it my money. I dread the day that I have to give the government my personal information and then wait each month for a check knowing the program can fail at any moment. But I get Col. West’s point. The program never should have been implemented to begin with - it’s a grand pyramid scheme dependent on the birth rate to be successful, hence the need for immigrants to be nationalized. The government waste for social programs is colossal.

I seen where a liberal admitted that the military was desegregated during WWII. Basically trying to give credit to the Dimocratic POTUS. The reality is the DDE desegregated the military over the objections of both FDR and HST.
    It is one reason that DDE took a personal interest in the Brown vs BOE. He was very proud of the fact that the little 9 year old black girl that started the suit was a Kansan. But there is so much more. And as the Dimocrats are always liking to say, they have been on the wrong side of history, every step of the way.
    And I also am proud that Linda Brown was a Kansas girl and wouldn’t accept no as an answer!!
